The Salisbury Flower Festival - June 17th to 21st -
saw the cathedral filled with thousands of flowers and amazing floral displays.
Over 550 volunteers from churches and flower clubs took part. Many volunteers arranging in one day the number of stems they normally arrange in one year!
The Festival, masterminded and designed by internationally renowned floral judge, demonstrator and designer Michael Bowyer, is a must for everyone who loves flowers.
Shirley Evans was approached last year to put a team together to create a Canford Arrangement and at 8am on Monday, ably assisted by Eveline Stimpson, Jane Evans and Gill Sands, the team went to work.
