Chris has been Vicar of St James’ Southbroom, Devizes for the last 9 years.  He formerly was a Chartered Accountant and worked with IBM for 13 years before training for ministry at St John’s College, Nottingham.  He took up his first post in the Portsmouth Diocese before moving to Devizes in 2000.

Sandra is Chris’ wife and works for the Bible Society as a Regional Manager.  She is ordained and has served in both Portsmouth and Salisbury Diocese. Before ordination Sandra was an optician.

Their children are:

Jonathan, 25, has just completed his PGCE and takes up his first post in September as a science teacher.  Jon has worked and lived in Bournemouth since leaving Southampton University three years ago and is a member of St Mary’s Longfleet.

Hannah,16, is at the end of her GCSE course at the moment and will be hoping to take up an A level course in a local school.
It is expected that Chris and his family will move into the Rectory in Canford before the beginning of the school September term and that Bishop Graham will license him at a service on Thursday 24th September at 7:30pm at the Parish Church.
