Baptism & Confirmation at the Parish Church

Baptism is a visible sign of God's love in which people of all ages are welcomed into the church as followers of Christ.

We baptise both adults and infants at Canford Parish Church. Please talk to one of the Ministers (see “About us”) in the first instance.

If you are an adult and you’d like to be baptised, we would encourage you to enroll first on our annual Alpha course. We baptise either in our font in the church, or by full emersion in the River Stour, next to the church.
