NATIONAL MARRIAGE WEEK

“So they are no longer two, but one” Matthew 19:6

“Our message is that marriage is vital in creating secure communities, and that couples can learn skills and knowledge that will enhance their relationship.”
Marriage Week is becoming global – from Australia to the USA. Pray very much for Richard and his family as he travels extensively, often as a 'lone ranger' to be a mouthpiece for the Lord in this vital mission.
We support mission projects locally in Dorset, in the UK and across the globe.

If you are interested in joining the Mission Committee then please speak to anybody on the committee or contact the Parish Office.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.

The Mission Committee decide how to spend monies donated by the churches for mission work.
There is long term funding for missionaries who have left our church to work overseas, regular projects that we contribute to, and special one off projects and mission trips which are part funded by the Mission
Committee.

All three churches tithe at least 10% of their annual income to
mission works through the Mission Committee.

There are open doors in Trešnjavica! We have been praying for this village, 13 miles from Jagodina, for a number of years. Extremely poor Rumanian Gypsies live there. We did distribute parcels for the children last Christmas and second hand clothes during a later visit.

Moses and Bex Okotel

Child of Hope Ministries, Uganda

Our names are Moses and Bex Okotel and we’re passionate about meeting the needs of disadvantaged children - rescuing them from destructive cycles of poverty, lack of education and opportunity. And we’re supported in the task by the hardworking Sam Engichu, our programme director.
