Welcome to
Canford Magna
Parish Church
You are very welcome at the Parish Church, part of the Canford Magna Churches Team.
Together, we offer a full programme of morning and evening worship for all ages. As we begin a new term in a new decade we are asking God to give us that 2020 vision as he leads us in our discipleship and mission.
There is something for all ages at Canford and we hope that you feel at home as you join us for worship and fellowship.
If you'd like to find out more, do come and speak to me or phone the Office on 01202 887733.
sincerely,
Do you a want a Christian outlook for your family?
Do you want your children to grow up knowing the Bible to help them make decisions in their lives?
Do you want your family to discover what it means to be a follower of Jesus?
But …
Is church at the wrong time of the day for you?
Are regular church services too long for you?
Does your busy life stop you from making church a regular commitment?

10.30 am Morning Programme
The Spring term begins with series of sermons which look more closely at the Book of James beginning after Epiphany with an introduction, progressing through all five chapters to a conclusion prior to the Joint Service at Canford School.
Starting in March our theme will be You’ve got the time which uses resources from the Bible Society in the form of a CD-ROM allowing you, over the 40 days of Lent, to listen to the whole of the New Testament recorded by Riding Lights Theatre Company. For more details click here. Anyone from the Parish Church who has difficulty downloading the resource can request help from any of the Ministry team or email the webmaster.
6.30 pm Evening Services
Our evening services alternate between the three churches in the Team. We encourage all members of the Parish Church to join with their brothers and sisters at St B’s in Bearwood and the Lantern.
The evening service gives us the opportunity to experiment with different forms of praise, prayer and teaching and the Leadership Team hope that you will support these services.
8 am BCP Communion
For those wanting a traditional, meditative service of Holy Communion following the Book of Common Prayer please join us on the first Sunday of the month and major festivals.
Other activities – not just Sunday
There are a wide range of activities going in during the week – see the Newsletter or the website for more information. If you have a particular interest, please talk to one of the Ministers and they will be able to put you in contact with the relevant group or activity leader.
